Moab Rope Swing

It’s short. It’s real. It’s unforgettable.

Moab Rope Swing Overview
The Moab Rope Swing Experience is a guided, adrenaline-filled adventure in the Moab desert just outside of town. After meeting at the designated shuttle parking area, guests are transported by off-road shuttle to the rope swing site, where trained guides lead the experience from start to finish.
Once on site, guides provide a safety briefing and fit each participant with the required gear. The rope swing launches from a natural sandstone ledge, sending you into a smooth pendulum swing through open air below. The experience is short, exciting, and designed to be both thrilling and controlled, with safety oversight at every step.
This is not a self-guided activity. Guides manage setup, instructions, and group flow so everyone knows exactly what to expect before taking the leap. After your swing, you’ll have time to relax, watch others jump, and take photos before returning by shuttle.
No prior experience is required. Participants should be comfortable with heights, able to follow instructions, and ready for a memorable Moab adventure.
Tour Highlights
This is one of those experiences that lives entirely in the moment. The Moab Rope Swing isn’t about distance, duration, or numbers. It’s about the split second when you decide to step forward and the memory that follows you home.
Unlike many adrenaline activities, this one is simple and accessible. You don’t need technical skills, prior experience, or a full day carved out of your schedule. It’s a quick adventure with a big emotional payoff.
What truly sets this experience apart is the guided, supportive atmosphere. Our staff knows how to encourage without pressure, creating an environment where first-timers feel comfortable and confident, whether you jump immediately or take a moment to breathe it in.
And then there’s the setting. Surrounded by Moab’s desert landscape, the rope swing delivers a rare blend of excitement and connection to place. Raw, real, and unmistakably Moab.

My husband and I did the night dinner cruise. It was awesome! The food was great and there were lots of choices. The cruise was fun and seeing the canyon walls being lit up was cool! If you go to Moab you should support this family owned business.Posted on Michael KolesarTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My wife and I did the sunset UTV tour with Richard as our guide and it was AMAZING! We were both surprised with how exhilarating it was. There were steep climbs/descents and some sandy flats to zoom through. Richard was super helpful and also showed a lot of trust on the route. Would absolutely recommend it!Posted on Theresa SueokaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This was a nice experience in Moab. We went on their last booking day of the season before they closed down for the winter months. The October weather was perfect and the scenery beautiful. The added bonus was the 3 piece folk music group that played lively music for the 1.5 hour river cruise. Afterward, we ate BBQ style dinner in the building next to the river. Fun activity for all ages.Posted on Tricia SmithTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great experience! Tasha was very funny and knowledgeable about the history, landscape etc. Captain Ron too! We didn't have a clear night but we did see some stars. Light show was cool, Jade and the driver did a great job. I loved how Jade raised her cowboy hat at the end of the light show, it was adorable! The cowboy buffet before was delicious and plentiful. We will definitely tell others!! Thanks!!
