3-Hour Scenic Hurrah Pass 4×4 Tour
The Scenic 3hr 4×4 Tour goes to the Hurrah Pass Trail. The Hurrah Pass trail is one of the most scenic backcountry routes near Moab, Utah.
Located southwest of town along the historic Kane Creek corridor, the trail begins near the banks of the Colorado River and winds through towering canyon walls before climbing high above the desert landscape. As the road ascends toward the summit of Hurrah Pass, sweeping views open across miles of canyon country.
Along the route, visitors pass ancient rock art panels carved by early inhabitants of the region, including the famous Birthing Rock petroglyph panel. The trail also offers spectacular viewpoints overlooking the winding Colorado River, rugged desert mesas, and the dramatic red rock cliffs that define this part of Utah.
From the top of Hurrah Pass, the landscape stretches in every direction, revealing one of the most beautiful hidden corners of the Moab backcountry.

Scenic Hurrah Pass 4×4 Tour
This is the most mild of the three tours and focuses on beautiful scenery rather than extreme obstacles. The adventure begins on a paved road that gradually transitions to gravel and dirt before climbing onto sandstone terrain. Expect a classic off-road experience with bumps, small climbs, and desert trails as you travel toward the stunning viewpoints at Hurrah Pass.
2-Hour Xtreme 4×4 Tour
Just because this tour is shorter doesn’t mean it’s boring. This is two hours of thrilling slickrock driving across the famous Hell’s Revenge trail in the Sand Flats Recreation Area. Guests will climb and descend Moab’s iconic red rock formations while enjoying incredible views of the La Sal Mountains, the Colorado River canyon nearly 1,000 feet below, and even distant views into Arches National Park.
This tour includes the famous Hell’s Gate obstacle, but skips several of the more difficult obstacles found on the longer tour. It’s perfect for guests who want an exciting ride without going full extreme.
3-Hour Xtreme 4×4 Tour
This is the ultimate Hell’s Revenge adventure. The tour follows the same world-famous slickrock trail but includes many more of the legendary obstacles that make the route famous among off-road enthusiasts.
During this extended adventure, guests may experience obstacles such as Hell’s Gate, Mickey’s Hot Tub, Car Wash Hot Tub, the Escalator, Cowboy Hill, Really Steep Hill, and the Colorado River Overlook. These challenging sections of the trail showcase the incredible traction of Moab’s slickrock and provide one of the most thrilling off-road rides in the region.
What should I bring?
Please dress for the weather (layers & gloves when it’s cool, hat, sunglasses, shorts, and sunscreen in the summer). Please wear closed-toed shoes for this activity. The vehicles are open-air, meaning that there’s a top to block the sun, but the sides of the vehicle are open, so make sure you’re comfortable traveling with the sides open.
Rain Jackets are provided on the occasion of a rainy day, you may bring your own if you have one.
